cannot play, update, or even uninstall a gamepass game.

I downloaded the Halo Infinite beta on my pc on the 15th when it came out and was able to play it just fine. about a week later an update was release for it so i went to install it. the update got to 100% then it said it failed. i didnt want to deal with it that night so the next day i tried to just uninstall the game. the game would not uninstall, update or launch. right now it says "play" in the gamepass app but when i click it it says "This app cant open check the windows store for more info about Halo Infinite. see in store" when i check the game in the Microsoft store it gives me the same message. when i try to uninstall i get the message "UNINSTALL ERROR go to settings" where the play button is. trying to uninstall the halo infinite file in Apps&Features gives me the message "we couldnt uninstall halo infinite. the operation did not complete successfully. try again in a bit. the error code is 0x80080204, in case you need it." and all i can find for that error code is a glitch in installing BluRay in xbox consoles. this has killed my hype for the game but further more is eating up 52 gigabytes on my computer for nothing.

thank you for the help but sadly ive tried all these already. i went ahead and redid them as you typed them but it change anything. except for the command i put in, which returned this error"

"maybe i did it wrong. its only happening for the one title, other games play fine btw

wow this is actually just criminal. i would understand if i gummed it up with some third party software but this is microsofts app! well at least i know what to do if it ever gets to be too much. thanks for the help

Well, I suggest you try this:

Open the Settings app it is the gear in the start menu.

Open Accounts

Click Sign-in Options

Scroll down to Privacy

Uncheck "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update and restart."

Restart your PC!
