Cannot play Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition

After a lot of thinking I decided to buy Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition this morning. After purchasing the game, I went to sleep to let the game download and install. I woke up and tried playing it (as it finished installing), but everytime I try to start
it, the game goes to a black screen and does not continue any further.

I deleted the game and tried to re-install the game, hoping it would fix my problem, but it installed again, and yet I am still getting stuck at a black screen. I have tried power cycling my Xbox One, but nothing is working. All of my other digital work
perfectly fine, except this one and now I'm not sure I even want the game anymore. Can anyone help me with this?

How is saying "Cortana go to Tomb Raider Definitive Edition" any more childish than saying "Xbox go to Tomb Raider Definitive Edition"?

 

I would try deleting the game, do a hard reset, and then re-download.

To delete the game hit the menu button on the right of the xbox button. This will bring up the options to stop installation, uninstall, and manage game.

To do a hard reset hold the power button down on the front of the console for 8-10 sec until it shuts off then unplug it from the outlet for 30 sec. then plug it back in and power back on and try re-installing the game again.
