Cannot play Steam Forza Copy and Xbox Gamepass Forza at the same time, please help.

Hello,

I bought a Forza Horizon 4 copy on Steam. Later on, I got the Xbox Gamepass Ultimate during sale. My friends now play Forza Horizon 4 Gamepass version on my Xbox One S in the house. I want to play my Steam copy on my PC but whenever I launch it, it tells me I can be only signed in, in one place and have to logout from my Xbox version. I don't understand. The Steam version is a different version from the Gamepass ultimate version. What to do here? Why can't I play both?

Thank you for responding. Yes, it's my Micrososft account. Since it's my account which has the gamepass subscription, is there any way to achieve this? Like with a guest profile or something?

I take it that you are trying to play the Steam version whilst your friends play the one on the One S right? Are they signing in with their own account when playing on the One S? Steam, although a different version, is still linked to your gamertag so you are effectively trying to play in 2 places at once which it won't allow.

I downloaded the Forza 5 for the first time via Microsoft Store, i played and i deleted the game. (I played with gamepass)

I bought Forza 5 from Steam and i linked my xbox account with steam, but when i start the game and logged in with my xbox account, my all progress is gone.
