Cannot play split screen Minecraft switch

I'm trying to play multiplayer Minecraft on my switch. When the + is hit on the second controller we get a message box saying to adjust the multiplayer settings, I then go to the multiplayer settings, but it is grayed out and contains this message, "you were disconnected from nintendo switch online. sign in on the main menu and restart your world to make it visible to your nintendo friends". I go to the main menu and I am already logged in. I am have one profile with a Nintendo switch online membership but only want to play split screen. Please help thank you

never mine my console was set at 480 instead of 720, got my info from:

Minecraft is a 2 player split screen game (also up to 4-play split)

Borderlands 2 is also split, think racking games, fighting games, you could play a game that doesn't require a split screen to be a local game like FIFA, WWE, NHL, NBA etc

You should be able to use it on all profiles, well as long as you don't switch the hard drive (Assuming you have a hard drive) with another console. If it does not work you should license transfer the content, or play split-screen Minecraft.
