Cannot play Spider-Man 2 (Original Xbox) on Xbox 360 (Solved)

I get an error message with no code.

"This original Xbox game is not supported on your Xbox 360 console. An update to support this game may be available. For more info, go to www.xbox.com/games" This is all it tells me. I have the oldest model of the 360, and I have a hard drive from microsoft. I should be able to play this, right?

Edit: my issue was my console was not connected to the internet to download the one time backwards compatibility update for the game. Solved.

I do know the original Xbox Kenny, I just never played it. I've always thought the OG Xbox was the Xbox One. I also know that the disc won't work on the Xbox 360 console either.

How can you do this and not know the difference between original xbox and xbox one? That's pretty concerning

Hello, you are wrong. I said Original Xbox, in the title. In fact, there is no game titled "Spider-Man 2" for the Xbox One. I also tell you the error message in my body of my post. It says "original xbox game". So, can you help me now that you know the actual fact of the issue?

That game isn't playable on your Xbox 360 console as it was made for the Xbox One. There's a version for the Xbox 360 I believe. You just need to get the disc and play it.
