    Cannot Play Halo Wars


    I'm not sure what is going on. Halo Wars showed in my download queue so I selected download as well as all the other games. Every game installed and downloaded except that.

    Next I try putting the disc in. It says installation stopped. and when trying to select it it says

    "Something went wrong

    Give it another try. If this happens again let us know by entering 0x87e00011 at xbox.com/errorhelp so we can investigate. You might find help for your task here on Xbox. From Home, press the menu button on your controller, then choose Help."

    The errorhelp page never loads and information on this issue is minimal.

    Does anyone know anything?

    Halo Wars: Definitive Edition owned but not accessible

    Hello,

    I redeemed a code for Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition a while back at the games launch, of which I am able to play, however with the package was supposed to be a copy of Halo Wars: Definitive Edition, but I cannot access it. The odd thing is, is that if I
    search the store for Halo Wars, two items appear for the Definitive Edition, one of which says 'owned', but I cannot download or launch, and the other says 'Not sold separately'.

    I also never received a code or anything, like other people have been mentioning.

    Halo Wars Definitive Edition download problems

    I recently purchased the digital code version of Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition from amazon it said it would come with Halo Wars Definitive Edition on both pc and xbox one. So far I've only been able to play halo wars definitive edition on my xbox one. When
    i go into the windows 10 store I see that i own an addon version of HWDE but cannot install it on the halo app or the windows 10 store. Please Help Me

    Hey Robborboy,

    Is the game still stuck in your download queue on your Xbox One? If so, let's start with these steps:

    • Visit 'My games & apps' from the Xbox One Dashboard.
    • In your games list, locate Halo Wars and uninstall (or cancel installation) by pressing the menu button on your Xbox One controller while the game tile is highlighted.
    • Power cycle your Xbox One by pressing and holding the power button down until the console fully powers down.
    • Power back on and insert your disc to begin installation.
    Let us know how that works out! Cannot Play Halo Wars :)

    Hey, SeaNutria244917! Are you getting the same error code as Robborboy? Are you trying to install it from a disc or a digital version? Let us know!

    Aha, since yours is a different game (the original poster is having issues with Halo Wars, yours is Reach), would you mind posting a new thread so that we can assist you there, please? Even though you're getting the same error, because the game is the same,
