Cannot play GTA IV: The Lost and The Damned

The Games for Windows Marketplace has been broken for over 2 years and Microsoft doesn't seem to care to fix it, despite so many people begging them to do so. Until they fix it, nothing can be accessed from it. You can voice your concern to Xbox Support,
although chances are they won't even know what you are talking about (see the clueless Ambassador reply above).

There are some factors that may have caused the issue. However, you can perform the suggested methods below to resolve your concern:

Method 1. Restart your apps.

1. Press Windows + R on the keyboard.
2. Type msconfig, and then click OK.
3. On the General tab, click the Normal Startup, and then click OK.
4. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Restart.

Method 2. Reset Windows Store cache.

1. Press Windows + X on your keyboard.
2. Select Command Prompt (Admin).
3. Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.
4. Launch Windows Store and check if there are available updates and install them.

We will appreciate if you can update us the results so if these methods won't work, we will find another way to resolve your concern.

My PC is running normal startup and for resetting the Microsoft Store I got an update for Your Phone, Microsoft Sticky Notes and a failed one for OneNote.

Below is a screenshot of the program that should have the game/DLC, as far as I know, Microsoft Store isn't the same. I understand
GFWL shut down. How do I access the content I redeemed now?

When you load up GTA IV does it load up into your latest save for GTA IV?

(Or the original version of GTA IV)



If it does try pressing start in game, then go to game and then Marketplace.

The Loat And Damned should be listed in there with a tick? If it is its installed correctly (or should be)



To start a single player story game up on the DLC simply go to game, new, and select The Lost And Damned. It should be an option in there. Enjoy playing on the lost and damned Story. (Just double check you have your origianl GTA IV save in a save slot just
in case auto save overwrites with the lost and damned)



To change between DLC's on GTA if you ever want to and get back to your origianl GTA IV save. simply press start, go to game, load and load the save file for the version of GTA you want to play.
