Cannot play Call of Duty

So i bought the new series X console an had the absolute hardest time trying to upgrade my Call of Duty to the the optimized version. After uninstalling twice then rebuying the 10 dollar upgrade I finally got it to download the newest Series X version. However, when I load up the game it puts me at the main menu and prompts me to purchase the game. When I go to that tab it gives me an error saying PUR-User Already Owns Content or something similar. Followed up by telling me to go to the store to download the game or if I'm playing from the cloud. I have the game fully installed with every single add on as well. Then when I close this tab it brings me back to the purchase screen. This is very frustrating and basically my game is stuck in limbo at this point. I even uninstalled the entire 180 GB game then re-downloaded. Same issue

I would like you to go through the following steps to clear the Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox:

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

There is no code, it just tells me that xbox cannot connext to online servers everytime I try to play Call of Duty Wodern Warfare.

Hello. If your Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare stats are negative and you cannot play the game online, it likely means that your stats are corrupted. If this is the case, you have the option of resetting your stats. -

Having your stats reset will take you back to Level 1 as though you have never played the Game. Please note that once you have Submitted a reset request, it cannot be undone. Stat resets cannot be reversed or restored.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare is not a Play Anywhere Game also you cannot game share on PC.

To play the game on the PC it would need to be purchased from the Blizzard Store / Client.
