Cannot play any of my digital-games, and I am the sole owner of my accounts/games. New error ...

If your account (the account that purchased the content) has set the console as Home console, going offline with the console may allow you to play the games. (This will only work for games that are not only online multiplayer).

yea i planned on deleting my account for that reason...does that mean that all of the games on the hard drive cannot be played by the new owner?

Physical disc games will work with any account, old or new. If it's a digital game, it's tied to the account that purchased it forever and can only be played by that account, or any account that's using the same system as the owner.

this should not be an issue as i am the only account ever on the xbox and sole purchaser of the games both physical and digital.

All the more reason to buy a console with a disc drive and physical discs with the game licence instead of digitally downloading game and licence attached to a specific account.

If for any reason my account is compromised and/or disabled, I still have the licences for the games on disc and they can be re-installed on a new console and/or new account.

I buy a lot of pre-owned games discs from my local games store and even though someone else has previously owned and installed the game on their console, the licence to play is on the disc, not attached to the previous owner's account.
