Cannot Play any Disc on XBOX 360, India

Hi All,

I have an old XBOX 360 (Original) and it is from US region, but is based in India and it does not play any discs anymore. there are no errors. the disc goes into the tray and then nothing comes up. I have tried multiple discs and games for box XBOX and Kinect
and none works.

Any suggestions?

As paul1807 has said, they are usually region locked. You'd have to buy an Xbox in India.

Xbox 360 game discs are region locked. If the console is from the USA then it will be NTSC-U and will need too have NTSC-U discs from the US. India uses NTSC-J

If the disc reader no longer works you probably need to send it off for repairs. The issue is that I don't think it's possible to do that from India unless you go to a third party repair centre. If you are coming back to the U.S you can start a repair

he console is blocked by regions. Some games are region free but others are only valid for the console of that region. If the console is American you should buy games from USA

Sorry about the issue, you should either buy a "new" Xbox 360 on second hand website or if you are able to make repair by ourself, there is a lot videos "how to" on YouTube
