Cannot pause live TV.

Discus and support Cannot pause live TV. in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Pausing live TV worked for a couple weeks then just stopped.     Cannot pause live TV.


    Pausing live TV worked for a couple weeks then just stopped. I turned it on and off in setting but that didn't help. I can bring up the controls but a second press on A does nothing. Rewind sometimes works and sometimes not.

    Xbox Pause No Longer Works

    Using the voice command "Xbox Pause" stopped working recently. It used to pause live TV, Netflix, Streaming Video, etc. and now it pauses nothing. I even tried pausing while watching a video on Xbox Movies and TV or whatever the app is called and that didn't
    work either. It says "Cannot Pause Right Now" or something to that effect whenever I try.

    Live TV w/ USB tuner + Pause live TV option on has stutters

    i have a :

    Hauppauge Digital TV Tuner for Xbox One TV Tuners and Video Capture 1578



    When i have the "Pause Live TV" option turned on my live tv, never pause, will start to stutter and pixelate. If I turn the Pause option off the issues stop.

    I have done all the restart, power cycle and other usual support efforts.



    What gives?

    I have the exact same problem, it has started this week!

    I have also lost the TV streaming capability over the smartglass app.

    Comcast live tv is is 30mins. behind actual time.

    Your box looks like it's a dvr. Did you accidently pause tv at some point? I know sometimes Kinect sent out a command to pause live tv.

    I gave up running my TV through the X1, tried it for a bit til I realised I still needed my remote for most stuff and that having the X1 on at the same time as the digital box guzzles loads of power.
