It seems like that you have issues transferring your saved games to another drive. As per description, you got an error message of "advance management options not available" and when selecting different drive, it automatically reverts back to the boot or default drive.

The best approach to your problem is to join Xbox Insider program. If you are not a member of the program, here is the guide to become one and its exclusive features.

To join the Xbox Insider program, you need to have an Xbox Live account and an Xbox One or Windows 10 PC. You’ll automatically become eligible to join more Insider content previews based on your interests, tenure as an Xbox Insider, Xbox Insider XP score, and activities you participate in. There are different rings available for Xbox Insiders with different requirements. For example, the Beta ring is open to Xbox Insiders with a program tenure of 3 or more months and an Xbox Insider XP Level of 5 or higher.

No, if you change where new games and apps will be installed, the already installed games will not be moved to the new location.

However, if the option is available, you can move the game to a desired path by following these steps:

1. Open Settings and select Apps > Apps & features

2. Locate the game or app you want to move, then click on it and select “Move”.

Another option is the following:

“Select the title within the app, then click the three-dot menu and choose Manage. Open the Files tab and click Change Drive, then select the destination and hit Move to finalize.

For certain games that support the ability to be moved to a separate folder on the same drive, you should see an Advanced Management Features on the Install Options page. Click Enable, and you will be able to move the game to a different folder.”

Go to Settings, System, Storage then move along to manage storage then view contents and you will see your games press start on what game you want to move then go to manage game and you get the option to move to external hard drive

Sometimes in the Xbox App, if you "Manage" the game, it'll sometimes have the option to say "This game supports advanced Management Features" and has the option to enable that. It'll then move the game to a folder that does have modifiable permissions that aren't possible in generally installed Windows Store apps. Does it show that option under Manage for the game in question?
