    Cannot log into Xbox live because of two factor authentication. I have an old Xbox live account I am trying to sign into, however, the second email on my Microsoft account no longer exists. This issue is preventing me from logging in, I have talked to support once already and they told me to go through account recovery. ACCOUNT RECOVERY DOES NOT WORK. It fails everytime and they’ve put a limit on me for doing it. All I want is to get into my old account. Can I please have help?

    Hello Baltarg,

    It sounds as though you are being presented with the "Add Security" log-in prompt. If you have two-step verification enabled on your Microsoft/Xbox LIVE account you will need to create an application password in order to sign-in to the Xbox LIVE service.
    In order to do this please log-in to your Microsoft Account using the following URL:
    https://account.live.com

    Navigate to your security options page and click on the link that reads "Create a new app password". You will then be provided with an application password which you may use in order to successfully log-in to the Xbox LIVE service. The legend that is "majornelson"
    probably explains this better than I. Please follow this link for further details on using two-step/factor authentication with your Xbox LIVE account:
