Cannot log into Minecraft - fake chinese email

It looks like this email was added to one services/apps of Microsoft in that computer and the login using this email on all apps were enabled that is why you cannot remove it.

To remove that option or use different account, please launch PC Settings (press Windows key + i on keyboard) go to Accounts and select Email & accounts options. See the accounts list in that part and see if you can click on the dropdown on the right side to select an option to remove this Chinese email. Ensure the right account is in that part of settings otherwise select Add account button on top right to add the email.

Restart device and see if issue persist for Minecraft Launcher.

We have another approach for this but it could be a little risky, please let me know if the suggestion above works.

Hello Kathy,

1. No issues with logging into either of the accounts from a browser.

2. No issues or warnings.

3. The issue is the I am using Minecraft Launcher, I select "Log in using Microsoft account", it prefills the aforementioned Chinese email. I have tried clicking the "back" arrow at the top but that does not give me an option to use a different email. I feel the underline portion is where I am having a hang up.

4. PC - Both the Minecraft.net AND the Xbox version populate the fake email account when I attempt to use my validated normal microsoft account. I could log in with my wife's account into the Xbox app and another account that I just created.

5. No I do not allow them to download things onto the computer for Minecraft.

Since we cannot see the screenshots, you have shared. There is a possibility that this issue is related to the issue in accessing the account. Let us isolate the issue, please provide us answers to the question below:

1. Please try to check each account can be signed into Microsoft website. Please using this link: Microsoft account | Home. Did you see an error message or code when trying to sign in the accounts?
   
2. Did you see any error message or code while sign into the accounts?
   
3. Since there is a Chinese email that is preventing you to sign in, may we know if you are familiar with this email account? Was this displayed to be verified with?
   
4. May we ask in what platform you are trying to play? Is it on PC or Xbox Console? If PC, may we confirm if you are using Microsoft Store in installing Minecraft Launcher.
   
5. Are your kids' using mods or add-ons from different site other than the one you install through Minecraft Marketplace?
   

I once had a thread regarding Minecraft account issue, where the customer provided the credentials to a teammate. We hope that this is not the case because the account access and security is crucial in playing Minecraft. The new Microsoft account may download, install and play the game in trial or demo mode however, the game license will still stay on your Microsoft account if purchased with Microsoft.

I know but I can’t log into the account that owns the game. This current account and the one that owns Minecraft are tied to the same email. But I cannot remember the name of it. So I’m wondering if I can get the account that owns Minecraft’s name back so I can log in and reinstall Minecraft.
