    Hi,

    So on the 31st of October, I migrated my Mojang Minecraft account over to a Microsoft account, since I have two Minecraft accounts I had to make a new Microsoft account to migrate to. Since then I have forgotten the email to that account and have been logged out of said account on Minecraft.net, Xbox and Outlook. I know the password to the account as well as the original email linked to the Mojang account and have proof of ownership through migration emails, however I do not have the transaction id for the Minecraft account in question. Is there a way I can recover the email linked to this account since I do not know the email address itself but rather only the username of the Minecraft account. I know the country that the Microsoft account was registered in. I know when the Microsoft account was registered. And I know of one email that was linked to the Minecraft account at the time.

    I'm afraid only way to recover an Xbox account is via the account recovery form here https://account.live.com/password/reset

    You can try all the emails you remember or if you had a phone number attached to the account, you can use that too.

    I'm logging in with my microsoft account, through the microsoft account log in.

    I've already migrated my account and it worked, because I played after it migrated. I've been having this issue after I changed to the new minecraft launcher they've released through the microsoft store, and I can't log in to Xbox Live through the Xbox app either.

    Did you try the Merge feature on MineCraft?
    It's best to read further information about it: Merging Minecraft Accounts.

    Also, by reading further:
    What will happen to my Mojang account after I migrate to a Microsoft account?

    You won't need it anymore! After migrating you'll use your Microsoft account to log in to the Minecraft Launcher to play the game and log in to minecraft.net to manage your settings.

    So perhaps try the Microsoft account.

    Is it possible to change which Minecraft account is associated with your Microsoft account?

    Okay, I was unclear when I said "cannot access the account". I meant that because it's not migrated, I can't log in with it. I still have the correct login information. It just won't log me in because it's not a Microsoft account.

    The article you linked also mentions contacting Minecraft support if you think your account was migrated by someone else. Assuming the process is truly irreversible, what point would contacting Minecraft support even serve?

    You should not have to re-purchase Minecraft after Migrating your account. If you cannot access the game on your account. Please make sure to first, Sign out of the Minecraft Launcher, add a new account, then log in with the Microsoft Account. If it is still not there please engage with Mojang Support on this issue.
