cannot log into microsoft account for minecraft ps4, help?

Are you accessing through the ps browser or a PC?

If it is a binding or entry step made by the PS, it is a platform connection error.

Now, if you are accessing this site through a PC browser, then the error is not really in the PS.

Try using another browser to access this, please.

And if it's through the PC, also perform this process.

Type CMD in the search bar;

Right-click on the Command Prompt option;

Click on Run as Administrator option;

1.On the desktop, simultaneously press Windows + R keys to open Run;

2. In run, type cleanmgr and click OK to open Disk Cleanup;

3. In the Disk Cleanup window, select the C: drive (if prompted) and click OK;

4. In the Disk Cleanup for Windows 10 window, select the checkboxes of the presented files and click Clean System Files.

5. After cleaning, check the unchecked checkboxes again and click OK>Delete Files.

I'm confused I dont understand how it can be the network/ps4 that is the issue. Minecraft gives me a code to sign in with Microsoft which I put into the website https://aka.ms/remoteconnect and I put in my email and password and then it takes me to the xbox live site and nothing shows up but a grey screen and sometimes a desaturated "let's go" button that doesn't work. To me that suggests there is a problem with the xbox live servers as all other websites work on my phone/computer.

Microsoft account is optional and not required to play Minecraft on PS4:tm:. It's a free account that you can use to log into a device. It allows Minecraft players on PS4:tm: to play with others on non-PS4:tm: devices such as iOS, Android, Xbox One, Switch and Windows 10.

A Microsoft account also allows portability of your purchases from Marketplace (non-PS4 devices) or Minecraft Store (PS4) to other devices and platforms. To create a new Microsoft account, go to:

account.microsoft.com

Note Once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation:tm: Network account, it cannot be unlinked without losing access to rights and Minecoins on other platforms.

Please note that the account must have an Xbox Social Profile.

if the problem persists, Unlink the Microsoft Account from the game and relink as shown below:

Start Minecraft and go to Settings > Profile;

Select Unlink Microsoft Account;

Check the three checkboxes to confirm that the account cannot access the Store, use cross-play and continue;

Select Unlink;

When the "Unlink Successfully" box appears, go back and sign in with your Microsoft account again.

If you are still not successful:

Logout All Devices to which the account has been connected;

Completely turn off all devices;

Just use the console and try to log into Minecraft with your Microsoft Account.

I didn't even know you could log into your Microsoft account on a playstation. Is it the same version of minecraft that you played last time you had logged the ps4 in with your minecraft account?
