Cannot log in to the PC game pass app.

Hey guys,

So I've been a subscriber to the xbox game pass for a while now and I just recently got a good PC to play games on. So I upgraded my subscription to Game Pass Ultimate and downloaded the Game Pass app to my PC. However when I try to log in, the app will
not let me. I'll click on the "Sign in" icon and the home screen will kinda flash like it's about to bring up the sign in screen, however beyond the little flash nothing happens.

Bottom line is when I try to sign into the app, it will not let me. I've tried redownloading/reinstalling the app several times. I do have the latest version of windows and have tried using the app "as an administrator" So far nothing has worked. I've tried
getting the log on prompt by going to sections like the "social" however it just tells me "Looks like your in no-mans land" or something like that.

If anyone knows how to fix this issue, I'd appreciate it otherwise I guess I'll have to unsub if I can't actually access any games haha.

Alright so I can't launch the Microsoft store either, I can follow you link and I now own the app. However when I try to install the app, the window pops up very briefly and then disappears. I don't know why this PC hates Microsoft products so much.

I also ran the windows store apps troubleshooter and the two errors that came up were

-Hanging or crashing apps

-service registration is missing or corrupt

No advice on how to resolve these two issues though.

It's the Xbox (Beta) App on my PC. No error code shows up unfortunately. The app straight up refuses to take me to the sign on screen.

I'll try that Xbox identity provider app for sure!

Xbox (beta) App? Does an error code appear when you attempt to sign in to the application? We recommend installing the

Xbox Identity Provider App. After you install the application, go ahead and try signing back into the Xbox App that you are using. Be sure to let us know the results!

I can only do the cloud gaming feature via https://xbox.com/play

If I log in via the PC App it does not recognize that I have Game Pass Ultimate so I cannot do either cloud gaming or console streaming. Which are features specific to Game Pass Ultimate.
