    Cannot load saves made in Minecraft Beta


    I was in the beta and left it before the latest update. After release of 1.14 I downloaded it from the store (ver 1.14.9.70) but cannot open any save made during the beta. I get the message “A newer version of the game has saved this level. It cannot be
    loaded.” My understanding was I could play beta saves once the new version was released. 1.14.9.70 is higher and newer than any beta version, please help.

    The latest public release of the game is on version 1.14.09 anything higher than this would be a beta version of the game.

    There is also features in the beta that has not been released to the general public yet and thus you will not be able to open the world until these features has been released.

    This is most likely because some is using the 'beta' version of Minecraft available through Xbox Insiders and Windows. You'll have to get it and update your Minecraft to the 'beta' version in order to connect, or they'll have to uninstall it and start a
    new world in order for you all to play. Be advised, who ever has the 'beta' version will be locked out of any worlds made with or saved with that version's content until the next update that adds that content is made public.
