    Cannot link Steam and Xbox accounts


    I cannot link my Steam and Xbox accounts.

    I have tried to link my Steam account in the Xbox app settings on Windows 10 but I keep getting the message: "Try again soon. We can't link right now." I also tried to link the accounts after launching a Microsoft game on Steam and using the Windows Game Bar, but I also get an error message saying that something went wrong.

    I have an older Xbox account that I had my Steam account tied to before, but I unlinked them. Now I can't link that Steam account to my new Xbox account.

    Please help. Thank you.

    If you have tried all workarounds in linking your Xbox account to your Steam account and nothing seems to work, you may need to reach out to the support website for the social network you’re trying to link.

    Microsoft Xbox has no tools to manage any 3rd party account on their end that is linked to a Microsoft account.

    It seems the only best option is to contact Steam for further assistance as they can manage your Steam account and possibly link it to your new Xbox account.

    So I have an activision account for Cold War on my steam account and a different one on Xbox, is there a way for me to link the two or change the one on the Xbox to the same?

    Yes link your steam account to the xbox activision account

    You cannot merge two accounts

    To unlink your Steam account from your Xbox account, you can follow these steps:
