    One of my accounts was stuck alone in a family group, so I added another account as an organizer to remove them. I successfully removed the initial account, but when I attempted to leave as the organizer account I just remained in the family group but no longer as an organizer.

    If you're under a family group, you need to use the organizer account in managing the member's account.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    You may need to leave the family group first, this will leave the family organizer the only one in the group, and then you can re-add the previous family organizer as a member.

    Are you sure you were properly removed from the family group? If you go to https://family.microsoft.com, does it show you only your account with no other person?

    Also, how exactly did you leave your family group? I ask because childs cannot leave their family groups. Only the parents are able to remove consent for the child account, then remove it from the family group.

    Microsoft Family - I Can't leave my own family

    I am having the exact same issue. I am an adult, but as I am the only member of the family group I am not allowed to leave it. It prevents me from playing multiplayer Minecraft with my family, and the only way to get out of that is by leaving the family group which I cannot do. Is there a way around this?
