Cannot launch Slay the Spire or reinstall it

I have been playing Slay the Spire without any issues through XGP on PC for the last couple weeks. Since yesterday, I have been unable to launch the game whether through the start menu or the Xbox (beta) app. I decided to uninstall and reinstall to see if
it would fix the issue. However, when I try to install the game the download percentage goes immediately from 0 to 100 and then an error message appears saying something unexpected happened and to report the message (error code: 0x800700aa). I tried typing
in the error code into the error code search but it did not return a result. Has anybody else has this issue or know a solution?

Edit: I should also add this is the only game through XGP and the Xbox app I am having any issue with.

Version 2.0 of Slay the Spire for PC on 1/14/2020

We are Game Pass subscribers using the Xbox(Beta) app on our PC's to play the game. When we launch Slay the Spire we get version 1.1 from 07/05/2019

Does anyone know if Microsoft has the rights to the most current version of the games they offer on Game Pass? Or are they limited to the games as they are when the deal was made?
