Cannot install Xbox app for my PC

Hey, I'm having a really weird issue. I'm just trying to download the Xbox app for Windows. I have plenty of space on both of my hardrives, have a fine internet connection, nothing obvious wrong. When I go to install the app, it always fails, both from the Xbox Installer from the Microsoft Xbox site, and from the Microsoft Windows store itself. I'm having no issues installing anything else, and everywhere I look says to simply delete local cache or trouble shoot the store, both of which I did. I've also confirmed that I can install literally any other app on the Windows store, it's only the Xbox app. I've even hard reset my PC, as I've been meaning to for a while, and I figured it would solve the issue since my PC would be like-new, and nothing. I'm running Windows 10.

Any ideas?

Seems like Gears 5 needs to be installed using the Xbox PC Beta App. Please check if your Windows 10 is version 1903 or not. If it is an earlier build the Xbox App does not seem to install. i have this problem with my Surface Book 2 which cannot update to
1903 due to an issue with that build and the surface line. This means i cannot install the Xbox PC app, and as a result i cannot install Gears 5.

The store on a regular computer links to your Xbox App on PC which shoudl allow you to install it.

It seems to be a problem that is affecting several users lately.

I recommend you to help Microsoft by reporting the problem through the following link where they will tell you step by step how to do it:

so microsoft will be aware that there is a problem installing the store and will be able to work on a solution for it.

Keep in mind that in this public forum we are just gamers like you trying to guide and help other gamers. We are not Microsoft employees.

Hello.

The current Xbox Console Companion on Windows advertises the "new Xbox App for Windows 10 PC". I have downloaded the installer via the link, and run it, however it does not install. It just shows the progress bar and "Making things awesome...", but nothing
happens. I have re-downloaded the installer, and trusted it on my Firewall but I cannot get anything to happen.

Has anyone else had this issue?

To install the app, you first need to uninstall the beta xbox app from your pc and then run the installer.

Same Issue. The xbox app stopped installing updates and does not check updates automatically. What is even more annoying is the Microsoft store app can install updates but it cannot check for them. What is wrong xbox platform on pc?

Oh yeah and I cannot access the Xbox app on PC. No matter how many accounts I create I cannot sign into the Xbox PC app only on my Phone. Again... the PC is shadow banned somewhere.
