    Cannot install gaming services. Code: 0x80070490


    I just got a new laptop, and went to download games from the Xbox app. However, the app will not install. I get a message saying that "there was an error. please try again later." It will download, but then throw a corrupted files error code before installing. The code is 0x80070490. I have tried using PowerShell as dictated by the Xbox help page, signing out and into Xbox and the microsoft store, powercycling my device, uninstalling and resintalling Xbox and the microsoft store, and turning off my anti-virus active scan protection. I have also run a scan of my computer and updated my drivers. How can I get gaming services installed on my PC?

    And I'd like to confirm that the above instructions do not help with the case.
