Cannot go back to the previous home screen

hi,

I have recently need to update after runnning need for speed most wanted on the Xbox 360 . However,i didn't know that it will change the home screen interface.I prefer the old one ,the problem is that I couldn't go to it. I tried to format the memory devices
and the hard drive and other suggestions but nothing.

I want to know how to get the old screen again?

You can't. You will have to use the home screen that was provided by the update.

Once the console is updated, there is no way to roll it back.

if the splash screen is the leading screen then no he cannot get past this, clicks on it to load and it flicks back to home screen
