Cannot get Discord account to Relink to Xbox

Same. Linked xbox and discord profiles for months and then trying to connect to discord voice on xbox gives message that i need to relink accounts regardless of how many time i relink accounts. The manual dns fix doesn't work

Hey bud this has happened to me once before and sadly happened again tonight and there’s two methods you can try and hopefully it fixes your issue.

1. Unlink your account on your Xbox and from the discord app unlink it and then restart your Xbox. Then relink from the discord app and Xbox app and when you finish on the discord app/xbox app it should say you’re good to go and then try discord.

2. Unlink your account on your Xbox and make sure it’s unlinked. Right after that restart your router (I guess it has an affect) and once it’s good to go restart your Xbox and then link again and it could work that’s what worked for me the first time (the second time it was the first option but could be any of the two.)

Idk why it’s a problem but I understand it’s the first of its kind for gaming consoles so it’s infuriating but understandable. Hope this helps you out so you can get back to gaming and hope these steps help out others as well.

Since, as you can see, it appears to be a widespread emerging issue, I recommend that you help Xbox by reporting the problem through the following link:

https://support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status

Click the green button that says "Report" and fill in the information as detailed as possible.

This way, Xbox can be aware that there is an issue with Discord linking and can work on resolving the problem as soon as possible.

Anyone tried deleted discord account and creating a new one? I haven’t yet, but no matter what I do, xbox and discord will not relink.

Hello! I know this is.. several months in the future, but I'm having the identical problem to this. My Xbox is repeatedly telling me I need to "relink" my account. Discord thinks everything is perfectly fine, it's only having issues when I try to transfer it to Xbox. I've relinked my account through the prompt, manually disconnected and reconnected my discord through the Xbox, and I've even manually disconnected and reconnected my discord through the discord app. Any suggestions? - as this is very frustrating to deal with.
