Cannot get $6.25 removed

As the post title says I have $6.25 in my Microsoft account that I got from Xbox Live Rewards (or so I have been told) & I want it removed from my account (long story).

I have already talked to a member of Microsoft's billing & support, asking if they could remove it. They could not. I escalated it & talked to their manager.

The manager told me that it wasn't possible at all & submitted a request to a product specialist to see what they have to say.

The product specialist told me that, yet again, they cannot remove it.

Is there any way I can escalate it past a product specialist?

Furthermore is there any conceivable way I can get the $6.25 removed from my account?

Go ahead and get it. It's on sale for like $25 and season pass is $6.25. Have fun, kill pilots and titans.

Excellent deal! Great game even at full price! Defence Grid 2 for $6.25 is a steal also....

 

Once the funds have been added to your account, Rewards support can no longer touch them. Phone and chat support would be the only way to contact the billing department who would be the only ones to be able to do anything, but the only way to remove the
funds would be to make a purchase.

Unfortunately, once Credits are deposited as currency, we no longer have any control over them. While we can confirm your 6250 Credit deposit on April 12th, we cannot take any action on them since we have no control over user's Microsoft Accounts. Unfortunately,
we do not have an escalation higher than Microsoft billing support.
