    Cannot gain access


    My son cannot access his XBOX live account due to he had created the account 4 years ago using an email account that he no longer has access to, we spent four hours today trying to gain access to the account however could not. Through the trouble shooting with Microsoft it stated that if you created an account and have not used it in a long time that the account would be closed. It has been four years and I am assuming that the account is closed. What can we do to get back on the account we have his XBOX name but we cannot seem to speak with a live person for help, or leave a number for a call back. He has money sitting on the account and a full year subscription for live that is only 3 months in. Please help.

    you cannot change your region and gain access to the dlc

    because the game is region specific you would forfeit access to it

    unfortunately no, if you cannot prove you own the account then microsoft will not help due to security, it is a nightmare issue to gain access to unknown accounts.

    If you can't gain access the account to manage the subscription, then the only other option is to have the banking institution cancel the card and block the Microsoft transaction. Unfortunately, that is your only option if you cannot access the account.

    No you may NOT use a VPN to circumvent region lockouts. The ToU clearly states that you cannot alter the service or network to gain access to the marketplace. Using a VPN is tricking--also known as fraud--the Xbox LIVE network so you can gain access to
    content not otherwise available to you.

    Using a VPN will get you banned.
