Cannot find Java Edition for Minecraft despite owning Bedrock Edition

Discus and support Cannot find Java Edition for Minecraft despite owning Bedrock Edition in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I don't need to buy the new mashup pack do I?     Cannot find Java Edition for Minecraft despite owning Bedrock Edition


    I don't need to buy the new mashup pack do I? I already own Bedrock Edition because I came from Xbox. It also said I did not to buy the Bedrock version according to the official Minecraft website. How do I play with Java Edition?

    If you bought Minecraft on Xbox you need to buy the Windows version to play, they are different versions and sold separately.

    My account was charged for game pass for pc and it says i have it but i cant play Minecraft Java

    As previously noted. Microsoft owns Minecraft, however Minecraft Java is not a Microsoft or Xbox game. The PC equivalent is “Minecraft Windows 10 edition” the Java version is a separate game not part of Minecraft bedrock, their-for not cross play with other devices.

    Xbox owns W10 edition not Java edition

    I cannot get Bedrock Edition despite having Java. It's already 14 June 2022. Still cannot get it. It is questionable.

    I'm being asked to buy Minecraft: Java and Bedrock edition although I have already owned Bedrock for years and I have Java on my laptop.

    The Xbox edition of Minecraft in the screenshot is still the Bedrock edition, is it not? I should have access to Java through owning the Bedrock edition, and I don't understand why I wouldn't be able to play it if I played Java in the past with my Microsoft account without having to buy Java.
