    Cannot Download Save Files for Backwards Compatible Titles


    Just today I downloaded a BC game and I had to wait about ten minutes for the 360 interface to download the save files from XBL but it errored and gave me an error code: '80072746'. I tried some troubleshooting on my own like power cycle, erase 360 data
    on the console, reset the console, sign in and out, none worked. I can sync the data for Xbox One games and I could do it on already installed BC games but since resetting my console even my other BC titles that were synced can't sync again so I know it's
    not a singular game issue. The download bar will go to about ~15% then stop until it gives that error some time later. Really worried about this because I have no idea what's going on and I don't want to get the Series X with this issue persisting.

    Hello. You cannot transfer saves via a USB. However, if you have a Gold membership and the game that you want to transfer your saves for is a backwards compatible title then you can load the saves onto the Cloud and transfer them that way. However, please
    remember that this is a one way transfer and they cannot be moved back to the 360.

    What is the game you're trying to buy? If it's a backwards compatible title then you cannot use currency on your account to purchase it unless you're on an Xbox 360 console. Also, please be aware that not all backwards compatible titles are available
    in all regions due to governmental restrictions. Although the Xbox One is a region free console this does not apply to backwards compatible titles

    Saved Game Transfer

    Enable Cloud saving on both consoles so it downloads all the save files on each game you have once you launch it on your Xbox one. Make sure the games are backwards compatible however.

    Save all your saves on the Xbox 360 to the cloud in the storage menu. Backwards compatibility is still in its infant stages and not available to the general public yet any way without a preview program membership.

    You cannot transfer games unless they have been made for backwards compatibility, and then if they are you will be offered the chance to download them on your Xbox one.
