cannot download profile on xbox360. ok on xbox 0ne

Cannot use my old profile on my xbox one to continue the games I was playing when upgrading to xbox one so all progress has been lost dishearteningly Hope you’ve got a solutions package cos I see plenty others with the same probs and no solution forthcoming.
Really it puts the value of purchasing the xbox 360 originally into question. No recovery options work right down to account recovery codes which produce the response in red writing “Theres a temporary problem with the service. please try again. If you continue
to get this message try again later” This is nothing but inflammatory to someone trying to solve an issue and maybe a typical response of those with self determined higher iq’s than the rest of us when they don’t know the answer! Come on!

You have just to go to new profile and insert your microsoft e-mail and password and there you go. But if this doesn't work you have to report this to microsoft support.

Just so I am understanding you correctly to help you out.

1. You are trying to play a Xbox 360 backwards compatible game on your Xbox One?

2, When you click on the 360 game does it load up?

Couple things to make sure of.

1. Your password is not longer than 16 characters. The 360s including the emulator on the Ones do not like passwords longer than 16 characters so if you password is longer than 16 characters change it to something less.

2. You have two step verification turned on. The 360s including the emulator on the Ones do not play well with two step verification if it is turned on turn it off or use your app password.

3. You changed your gamertag since the last time you used a 360. Redownload your profile on the 360 emulator by following these steps:

a. Load any 360 game

b. Once loaded hit the start and select buttons (small round buttons on either side of the big Xbox button on the controller) at the same time.

c. This will bring up the 360 guide once that comes up their will be a choice to download profile as long as steps 1 and 2 above are met then you should be able to enter in your email and password and this will redownload your profile to the 360
emulator and at this point your 360 games should work.

Whenever you change your gamer tag on an account you will need to redownload your profile to any 360 including the emulators on the Ones for your games to save to your account.

Thanks for the suggestion, but how will I be able to re-download my profile, if my XboX360 cannot connect to the internet?

Ok I understand that for the upcoming game, I will be fine and will hopefully be able to download, but as the promotion content is under Xbox360 i cannot recieve the original game Human Revoltions and the extra episode " Missing Link" because they are region
locked

They have an app for the xbox 0ne games. I downloaded it but never used it yet and I too sick and tired right now to try and use my brain.
