Cannot Download Digital Game on Xbox 360

I am trying to download a game that was recently made available digitally on Xbox's 20th anniversary, SpongeBob's Truth or Square. But whenever I try to download the game on 360, it stays at 0% for about 15-20 seconds then says that it can't download this item. I'm wondering what the issue is.

It is really odd that the 360 version cannot be ordered.

Plus to consider that a digital download means we cannot resell.... So pure funding to the software industry

BTW will the 360 version allow download onto Xbox one and the encourage console sales?

You cannot purchase Xbox 360 content from the Xbox One store.

For digital download content, manage the game and they should be there ready to be installed. Make sure to be using the account that purchased them.

If a game is not compatible with Xbox One, whether it's a digital or disc version, it cannot be played on the console. However, some Xbox 360 games are backward compatible with Xbox One, and you can check the list of backward compatible games on the Xbox website. If the game you purchased is on the list, you can download and play the digital version on your Xbox One.

Thank you for confirming that you are able to download other titles, apps and movies. Have you tried to remote install the game onto the console?

Go to Xbox.com (try this link first SpongeBob: Truth-Sq. (xbox.com)
In the search bar, look for the game
Then select Download to 360
