cannot download any purchased content

Hello all

i bought a Xbox one for my family and took the Xbox 360 upstairs to my sons room , when we initially swapped boxex we transferred all the content we had bought to the Xbox 360 .. my son then changed his gamer tag and all was OK ....

hes had problems connecting to Xbox live it turned out to be a wireless issue which is now fixed ....

but when he logs in with his gamer-tag it wants him to pay for the DLC is there anything we can do

Cant buy anything on the website marketplace or on my xbox

Is this the only content you cannot purchase? Are you able to download free content and content you have already purchased before?

Cannot re-download purchased content

You can also access the download history from your xbox. On the dashboard go to Settings then Account and then select Download History. You can redownload everything from there.

Only the account that bought the content is able to redownload it to a console.

Also be aware that if licenses were transferred from one console to another they will still be downloaded with the owner account to make sure the licenses are on the console.

Demos do not count as purchased content, and therefore are not affected by the Safety Settings. If you are on a Child Account, you cannot download M- or Un-rated demos or trailers at any time.

If you read the warnings before the migration it says this:

Previously purchased or downloaded content (for example, videos, games, and add-ons) cannot be downloaded again after migration. Previously purchased content is not refundable, and there is no guarantee that it will work after migration.
