    Cannot download a game. My Xbox think i already download it...Can't delete also.


    I acquired borderland 2 during the monthly free gold.(Yeah, i know, few months ago...)

    But the download sends me to the store and the store sends me to my games and applications. Can not aquire the game or remove it.

    I can't buy the game or any...Cause purchase isn't there, i only see launch game and it send me too the store and store send me to my game...

    I can't download from xbox live marketplace.

    The download will go to 80% and "can't download GAME NAME" error message

    I already deleted system cache, formatted HDD, deleted profile and downloading again, etc.

    I cannot download it what was found already. Cannot download a game. My Xbox think i already download it...Can't delete also. :(

    I tried everything what I read on the forums.

    Hi there,

    you can't change or install any apps by downloading the .exe or installer file on the Xbox One console.

    Apps can only updated via My Games and Apps or installed via the Store on the console.

    I don't think there is a way to delete anything that was downloaded via a browser on the console, it might already be automatically deleted too, but there is no way to check that as far as I know.

    I am also having this issue since jan this year after i renewed my gold membership

    Whenever I try to download either Assassin's Creed IV or the other free game from Live on my console I get the "can't download" message. And I have been trying every 2 hours and still no luck. It throws me out after a while i cna de a re download contuee
    were it left but then gives the cannot dowload message and i have to delete the incomplete file for startting a new download. with tombraider , gear of war, and black flag black flag already 6 times tired today ..but no luck each time after a while cannot

    I’be tried all that, and nothing has worked. The profile has already been deleted, and the download is failing so I cannot delete it again. Also, another profile on the system connects to Xbox live just fine, so the connection is fine.

    Yes, the thread I was referring to is the one you mentioned.

    This solution hasn't worked for me. But I also wasn't able to delete the already downloaded game. Maybe if I delete it completely and start over, it will work. Can you tell me where the xbox game pass app saves the downloaded games? I haven't been able to
    find this and I also can't uninstall the game in the app like I can with the other installed games.
