    Tried uninstalling, reinstalling numerous times and updated Windows. Nothing changes and no additional help provided or similar issues on any forums.

    Any help would be much appreciated as I've being dying to play this game for quite a while now.

    Hi there I do believe it is a known issue they are having with connection loss from server related issues. The only thing I can suggest is restarting your router/hub and see if it maybe helps at all. If not I am sorry I cant be of more help. Hopefully
    the next patch resolves some of these issues and hope you are safe and well in these insane times.

    By the way you can use your windows search (bottom left) and search for: save.hg

    This error matches the timestamps and the error:

    The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
