    I cannot connect to my xbox one console with the XBox Console Companion. When I enter the IP address of the console, the message is "We couldn't an XBox One Console with the IP address provided.

    Make sure when you are setting it up that both your phone, console/pc are on the same network. You may just need to reset your modem and try again

    The PC and the console are on the same network. My router shows the address of the console.

    After rebooting several times, it finally connected.

    Like others have said - make sure you're on the same network and check your router. Might need a reset.
