Cannot connect to Xbox Live in Windows 10

Hi. Every time I try to connect to Xbox Live in Windows 10, it keeps popping this message up:

Cannot play Microsoft mahjong in windows 10. Refuses to login to xbox live to connect. Refer ti 1170000.

cannot connect to xbox live on my new surface 3

I cannot connect to my xbox live account on my surface3 after upgraded to windows 10, but my account could be connected in another pc also running winsows 10.

The error code showing was 0x3fb

pls help!!

Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention on the forums. I understand you can not connect to Xbox Live is that correct? Have you tried safely powering down your PC and unplugging it from the power source for a minute or two before powering it
back up and trying again? Try that and let us know with a reply if it helps!

My girlfriend had the same problem on her laptop at her place. I tried connecting in a different place and it worked fine. She then decided to call her internet provider and they changed the modem and now it work fine! We just don't know why it suddenly
stopped working on the previous one... Sorry for the trouble! and Thank you!

Have you made any changes to your device before encountering this issue?

Are you getting any error messages?

Is your device connected to a wired or a wireless network?

Are you able to sign in to
Xbox.com?

- I did not make any change to my device.

- It just keep telling me I am not connected to Internet, but I am.

- Wireless Network

- Yes I am able to sign in on Xbox.com, here I am

Hey there. I tried and followed your steps but I have the same problem again. Nothing changed, still can't log in.
