    Hello,

    My son has been playing xbox live for weeks, no problems. He got Madden 16 for Christmas tried to play it and Fifa 15 and cannot connect to xbox live. It says it needs an update and just keeps clocking, then it says it can't connect from internet to xbox?

    Wait what issue are you all having? Have you downloaded the update but cannot connect to xbox live, or can you not install the initial update?

    Cannot get update thus cannot connect to xbox live

    When trying to connect to xbox live, I am prompted to download an update first. I accept the update, but I am told that I cannot connect to xbox live and that I must test my connection. I test my connection. It shows me that it connects to wifi and my
    internet no problem. When it tests the xbox live connection, it prompts me to install the update. I accept the update, but again I am told that I cannot connect to xbox live and I need to test my connection. The status code of the error message is: 4099-0000-0080-0300-8007-0570.

    are you saying that your clock isn't updating? Yep, the clock isn't updating and i am connected fine.you said to follow the steps but it said:
    Note You cannot change the clock settings while you are connected to Xbox Live.EDIT: I changed it without connection, and it changed to non- DST USA central time.

    I'm getting a "cannot connect to Xbox Live" message since installing this update. I even uninstalled the game and reinstalled. Any ideas? My network connection is fine, unless this is just a LIVE issue in itself.

    as i stated earlier, i have managed to install the current dashboard from CD and can connect/log into/and recover my gamertag through xbox live.

    the issue is that i cannot download game updates or any updates in general through xbox live.
