Cannot connect to multiplayer worlds on Astroneer or Minecraft

Hi FelixPenguin, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

If it's working just fine using your mobile hotspot then yes, you're correct. The issue with your Internet connection. You can perform a reset by turning your internet off for 5 minutes then check if it will now work but if not you may need to reach out to your Internet Service Provider.

Sorry but a Minecraft world is still a game save and as such cannot be transferred between profiles. However, if your console is connected to an HD TV then you should be able to play multiplayer with both profiles.

Have you contacted Mojang Support on this issue as well? What platform are you playing on?

Here is a Mojang Articles about the issue you are having as well: Minecraft Multiplayer Connectivity Issues – Home. this covers general connectivity issues, but if I'm understanding its only 1 specific world this is happening? Is it a standard world or a Realm?

Do you get an error message when you're kicked? When does it kick you? How long are you in game before you are removed? Have you been able to play together before? Does this happen when either of you are hosting the world or have you only tried one hosting
the world?

Do you have any issues joining other multiplayer games?

And to clarify, I can't remember if Astroneer supports it, but is that split screen or are you talking about online multiplayer?
