Cannot claim 2 out of the 4 codes received as part of the Gears of War 4 promotion

I have purchased Gears of War 4 and as part of the promotion I have received 4 codes for the Gears of War Xbox360 collection, while I was able to claim 2 of these codes, I am unable to claim the codes for Gears of War 1&3.

Some troubleshooting was already attempted by Microsoft support however with no luck and I got redirected to this section.

Purchased the Gears of War Xbox One S - I have not received my codes yet for Gears of War 1, 2 3 and Judgement as part of the promotion of Gears of War 4. I Purchased and activated the game several weeks ago. My father purchased and activated his system
the same day and received his codes a couple days later. Please help me get my codes.

I haven't received my download codes for Gears of War, 2, 3 and Judgement as part of the Gears of War 4 pre-order offer can you help me with this?

 

What error message/code do you receive when you try redeeming the codes? What region is your account set for and what region are you physically located in? Region issues are the most common reasons those codes won't work.

 

The error message is:

"Something went wrong

Give it another try. If this happens again, let us know by entering the code below at xbox.com/errorhelp so we can investigate."

The error code is: "XBOS-4000"

My account and physical regions are: Romania

 

Your region is definitely the issue then. Since Romania is not a supported country, those games are not available for download there.

 

I have also tried this with both account region and VPN set to GB and they still did not work

 

You won't be able to download them unless you are physically in a region where they are available and your account is set for that region. There is no way around region locks.

 

This still does not solve my problem regarding redeeming the codes

 

You won't be able to redeem them as long as you are in Romania. Since the games are not available there, there basically is nothing they can be redeemed for.
