Cannot choose AE (Armed Forces Europe) as a state for billing purposes.

Unfortunately that just may not be an available option and you would just have to put the state or region that is listed there from where you are based in Europe.

Other than that you would need to contact Xbox Customer Support and see if they can assist you with inputting your billing information.

Well im supposed to use the billing address of the card im using. My billing address is Armed Forces Europe (AE) so that doesnt make sense to use a state or region in Europe.

I know I have to contact microsoft to uodate, but why isn't this an option? It makes no sense that microsoft is the only company i deal with that doesn't have this as an option.

I understand what you are getting at but it is total lack of support. I cannot order anything, whether it is services, apps, etc. I understand that there are licensing and geographic issues when dealing with services connecting via international ISPs,
but for billing and shipping purposes, military addresses are under the scope of the UNITED STATES Postal service.

Thanks for the tip. The address I'm using with my account is a military PO box, set to AE (Armed Forces - Europe), but is still considered a US address. Does Microsoft have any way of recognizing that as valid with me using a German connection?

Can you guys be less helpful? Armed forces America, Pacific, and Africa are already an option, literally just add Europe. This doesn’t affect region because 1) Its a billing address and 2) The whole point of putting Armed Forces Europe instead of Italy,
for example, is because its an address in the states that ships to our respective bases. Fix this issue and please know more about what you’re talking about. Its hard to believe you guys actually get payed to be so useless.
