Cannot buy Game pass for PC on sale

Hey, I bought GP for PC few months ago, used it to my liking and forgot about it. They added some new games I was interested in so I wanted to buy another GP for a month. The thing is, I forgot to cancel subscription the first time and I didn't have any
money on my bank account at the time (I buy stuff with my card, but it expired), so the payment got somewhat stuck. I want to buy GP on sale (around $1), but the payment got stuck on the original price (around $6) for the same thing. When I try to buy GP on
sale, the error message shows up, navigates me to https://account.microsoft.com/services and tells me I cannot buy anything without paying the original price for GP.

Ah I see. You'll have to pay off the overdue balance first before you can purchase a new subscription. If it's not letting you add a new card or pay it off via the billing site, you'll need to contact support and speak to billing. http://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us

It still doesn't solve the problem though. I cannot buy any type of Game pass without paying GP for original price for 1 month.

The sale price is only for new subscribers. Since you've already had Game Pass, you would have to pay the full price.

When you buy Gold or Game Pass through Xbox it starts a recurring subscription and by completing the transaction you agree that the subscription will automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renewal before it's set to renew. So when the new month started,
they automatically started the next month of your subscription, but since they weren't able to charge you (they usually try a few times) they suspend the subscription. So you did actually receive the next month, it was just stopped since they weren't able
to charge you for it.
