    Cannot answer Skype calls


    I thought it was just me being thick, but after many attempts it seems impossible to answer an incoming Skype call on my Xbox one.

    Even when I am in the app, when a call comes in I can either hold the home button which turns off the console, or say "x box answer that" which just takes me to the conversation history of the caller, who eventually hangs up.

    I've been forced to revert to my iPad which, I hate to say, ALWAYS WORKS !!

    What can I do?

    Skype doesn't work often

    I am having issues with Skype. Sometimes my calls aren't received by friends, sometimes I can't answer their calls, and sometimes I get several notifications for a single Skype call. Generally when I get several notification from a single Skype call, I
    can't answer the call. I'll select either Answer or Answer without video, and it'll take me to Skype, but it won't connect the call.

    Can't answer calls on skype while playing in a different app

    Same issue for me.

    Playing game/watching movie.

    Skype call pops up.

    I say "xbox answer".

    Skype loads and takes me to the callers profile screen.

    I then have to select answer with video to connect to the call.

    I assume saying "xbox answer" should just load skype and connect me in one smooth flow, right?

    I'm having this exact same issue as well. Watching TV or playing game, someone skype calls me and I say "Xbox Answer". Xbox recognizes the phrase and launches Skype, but never answers the call. I then call back.
