Cannot add Payment Method to Microsoft Account

is there any way for me to add payment method without credit card? i have PC game pass code, but to activate it, i need to add payment method, for me it such a waste if i cannot add my code to my account.

Microsoft usually only accepts credit card and PayPal as payment options in most countries. Depending on your country you can add other payment methods, but if you cannot add SEPA Direct Debit as a payment option on your Microsoft account, it is not allowed anymore.

To add a payment method to your Microsoft account, please go to:

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments

Also, since Game Pass is a subscription, you can only use payment methods that support recurring billing to pay for it.

You can add a new payment method and tell your son to select that whenever he wants to purchase an add on

Sign in to the Microsoft account you want to update.

Microsoft account

Go to Payment & billing and select Payment options. You can add or edit payment methods from here.

Under Payment methods, you can Add a new payment method, View or edit card, or Remove card.

Enter your updated info, and select Save.

Unfortunately, you cannot use your Microsoft Account balance on Xbox.com. You'll have to use the console. Same for the Games with Gold titles, you'll need to do it on the console or add a payment method.
