    Cannot activate game pass


    I recently bought a Lenovo 5 Pro AMD that comes with a Microsoft Xbox game pass till 12-06-2023. But how do I activate it as each time I try, it says something went wrong. I really don't know who is the right person to ask this question, as I cannot find any relevant sorting question, to begin with.

    Does the account that is logged into the Microsoft Store app already have or has a subscription?

    The offer applies to new users so if you already had an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription you cannot make it valid

    Make sure you redeem on an account without an active Xbox Game Pass subscription. Accounts with an active subscription cannot redeem these trial codes. Note, Trial codes may not work if you previously had one of these subscriptions on this account.

    If you have an active Game Pass subscription, it is impossible to redeem the code, let me know if this is your case.
