Cannot access Options Forza 5

I appreciate your understanding and patience!While waiting for them, try checking your controller settings as well specially if you changed button mappings in game, if you can reset it or try pressing each buttons to see if it will launch the Accessibility settings is another way for us to check.

But if you also checked it and still doesn't work, it would be best to wait for their response so long as you reported the issue to the Forza Horizon 5 support they would be investigating it and reach you for an update.

Since my last email, I have rebooted the xbox, checked for Forza 5 updates (it is up to date) and went into the Account settings 'Privacyand Online' as you suggested and using the link you provided.

Again, nothing has worked.

It is weird as all accessibility videos by Forza and support videos on YouTube, say to just press the X button and all options/settings screen appears!

I've watched these over and over again and seen how it should work.

With my console, the X button does absolutely nothing, on both my hand controller and on the Logitech Gforce steering wheel.

I guess that I have to hope that Forza support will get back to me!

Can you tell us what have you tried so far? Normally what we suggest is to check if there are any updates for the game, common basic troubleshooting would be to restart the game, hard reset the console by press and holding the power button to refresh the system. Launch the game after boot up and see if there are still problems accessing the in-game settings.

Aside from this, I suggest to also check your Xbox privacy settings via https://account.xbox.com/en-gb/Settings/Home then go to "Privacy & online safety" category. From here you can choose the Xbox one or Windows devices just click it and make sure your multiplayer settings are allowed and there are no restrictions.

If all else is good via the page, please try checking the game again but don't forget to relaunch it.

I appreciate your response and update! Thanks for sharing this in the community. With regards to what they suggested, it would be the most suggested option if the Xbox privacy settings would still not work.

It is to report the in-game settings as it could be a possible bug. We are looking forward to your response.

I have already tried most of the things you suggested, whilst on the phone to Xbox support..

They couldn't get anything to change after reboot etc..

I will try going into the xbox account settings after I've wrote this email.

Xbox support suggested that I contact Forza motorsport support, which I have done, but they still haven't even replied via email, a week later.
