    Cannot access game screenshots


    In not able to open screenshots sent to me by some friends on Xbox mobile app or on SS console. I'm however able to open screenshots from most friends though. Why is this please?

    Unfortunately it didnt help after following these procedures, must be a xbox issue?

    Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

    It may seem to be a bug. Sign out of your console and the app and sign back in.

    You can also try a power cycle of the console.

    - Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    - Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

    - Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.

    external HDD for xbox

    you will have to reformat it on the pc for use on pc.

    on the xbox if you format for games and apps then it formats the drive to only work with xbox so you cannot access the game files etc.

    you can format the drive on xbox for clips and screenshots which means it will still pickup on pc.
