    Cancelling replacement order


    Hi

    I just need to know how to cancel a replacement order for my xbox series x controller.

    I initially had trouble witn my controller and started a replacement order with microsoft
    Microsoft has not contacted me with follow-up instructions contrary to their automated reply.

    I asked for call back twice through their virtual agent but microsoft has so far failed to contact me...

    In the meantime, I found out the issue with my controller and no longer need the replacement.

    I’m not feeling very “supported” right now

    It’d be helpful if someone provide some support here.

    Service Order for replacement controller INCORRECTLY cancelled by Xbox

    Hi Ognjen,

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have a question on a replacement. We are sorry for any inconvenience of the cancellation. Your best option is to get with support. They will be able to see why it was cancelled and such.

    When you go to Contact Us, follow these steps to request a call from support:



    • Step 1 ----click on Contact us
    • Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
    • Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

      Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

    Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

    UPS says they left Xbox One at door. Can Microsoft help track xbox one somehow?

    Been waiting weeks to get another replacent kinect for xbox one wich keeps on breaking! Set up advandced order and they cancell the order and cant tell me why!? Companys like thjs should do alot better espiecally with an item costing £440.

    so, i spoke with "UK" support in Estonia....no help whatsoever......wait 28 days for a replacement (and miss the Q3 releases)....time to cancel my pre-orders and re-purchase for PS4 me thinks... :(

    Make sure you double check your order on myservice.xbox.com, you should be able to sign in using the email and password for your Microsoft account and track the status of your order or verify if it has been cancelled. If you sent your controller in and the
    order was cancelled before you received your replacement, then I'm afraid that NJDevils rock13 is right. You will need to call 18004699269 to escalate this issue to the Customer Care Advocacy team so they can investigate with the repair center.

    How can I cancel an Xbox repair order that I no longer need?

    You can change or cancel an existing service order up until the day you send the product to the service center. First, sign in at Device Support, and then go to Orders to confirm that
    the order status is either Order in progress or Packing material received by customer.

    • To cancel the order, select Cancel Order. Allow 24 hours for the cancellation to be processed. If a refund is due, we’ll post the refund to your account within 72 hours after confirming the cancellation.
    • To change the email address used or the return delivery address, you’ll have to cancel (see the previous bullet) and then resubmit the order. Click your name in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select Profile to access and modify the
      information.
    • If you’ve already sent in your Xbox console or Kinect sensor and find that you need to have it delivered to an address different from the one listed on your order after you’ve shipped it, contact the shipping provider.
    • If you’ve already sent in your controller, power supply, or other accessory, or have paid for an item to be sent directly to you, and you find that you need the replacement sent to a different address, contact your shipping provider.
    • If the service center has already received your defective product or shipped out a replacement, you can’t cancel the order, and we can’t issue a refund.
    • A service order and the associated shipping label (if applicable) are valid for 30 days from the day you submit the request. If your service order expires after you’ve already shipped out the product, contact Xbox Support.
