    After canceling my pre-order around 2 weeks ago, I was sure that would be the end of it, but just now I got charged 300$ for my Xbox that I canceled and that it's being shipped. This is definitely an error and is there a way to cancel this or be able to
    return it when it gets here.

    If you do get it you could relist on ebay for what the scalpers are doing and relist it for like £350. Just an alternative. Im totally in the reverse. My predicament is that ive had my x paid for since i got my preorder in at microsoft store and have not
    even got a email stating anything has shipped......

    I would call Microsoft to be sure but im pretty positive you can return it if it does arrive and get your money back!

    Yes it will, it just won't look as good as the Series S/X version. If he hasn't been charged yet, he can also cancel the pre-order and purchase the Series S/X version instead.

    why did they release a new console with very limited stock ?

    You had as much chance as I did to pre order a console and it wasn't my fault that you couldn't be bothered to go to your local game store to pre order a console.

    Nothing like playing on my launch day console that I had the sense to pre order like the other people that were waiting in line in front of me to pre order theirs as well.

    Even if I hadn't pre ordered my console I wouldn't go on the Xbox forum crying about that I couldn't buy one.

    I stay in the UK and I just had a look at some of the websites that sell consoles and all of them have the Series s in stock but they have no stock for the Series X.

    So I have the Xbox Series X that I pre ordered and I got a Xbox Series S two weeks ago as a spare console.
