Want to change my old account's adress

accidentally made a new account for the new adress

I need to eliminate the new xbox account in order to link the new adress to the old xbox account

How to turn off auto renewal

It is recommended that you cancel your Xbox LIVE Gold Membership using the option of turning off automatic renewal. If auto renewal is "off", your membership will expire at the end of its current term.

Steps to follow:

1) If you are not already signed in, click Sign In at the upper right hand corner and sign in using your Microsoft account.

2) Proceed to My Account.

3) Click Change next to automatic renewal. Change the setting to OFF

You will be able to continue enjoying all the benefits of Xbox LIVE Gold Membership until your paid membership time expires.

Note:

If you want to cancel or disable your Xbox LIVE Gold Membership immediately, you should contact Xbox support. Use the Request a Call from Support option on the official Xbox Contact Us page. Your account cannot be canceled through chat or email.

If you disable your account immediately, you will lose the time remaining on your membership subscription.

If you are on a 2 Year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract, and you want to cancel before the end of the 2 years, you will be charged an Early Termination Fee and other applicable taxes. Once the two-year agreement period is over, your account will not be renewed automatically.

You can cancel the 2 Year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract using the option of self-cancel your subscription on Xbox.com

You should be able to cancel at Sign in to your Microsoft account If not, you'll need to contact support and speak to billing. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

 

OK this will take a few steps but it is possible as long as the email that you want on your original account is not a MS server email (@outlook.com, @live.com, @msn.com, @hotmail.com) if it is there is NO way to move that email to the original profile.

to make things simple we will set things up like this

A1- old account with email that you do not want on it

A2- New account with email that you want on old account as long as its not a MS server email.

so follow these steps

1. Sign into account.live.com/addassocid with A2 choose create new account (outlook.com) and pick an email basically creating a dummy email so that you can get the other email off the account to put on A1.

2. Make dummy email the primary email address

3. Remove email that you want on A1 from this account ONLY DO THIS IF IT IS NOT A MS SERVER EMAIL IF YOU DO THIS AND IT IS A MS SERVER EMAIL THAT EMAIL WILL BE GONE FOREVER AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IT BACK.

4. Sign out of the website.

5. Sign into account.live.com/addassocid with A1 email and password.

6. Choose add an existing email and put in the email that you just took off of A2

7. Make that email the primary email and remove the old email if you dont want to use it anymore Same warning applies here if it is MS server email and you remove it, it will be GONE forever.
