Can you use xbox app when comm suspended

We understand that you are inquiring if your friend that was recently suspended can use text chat when they are suspended. We would like to set your expectation that Customer support can’t assist with suspensions or enforcement actions. Depending on the enforcement action on your friend's account, they can file for an appeal by using the case review process. If the option is available, they’ll see the option to do so from their enforcement history. This process is handled directly by Xbox Safety, and it’s the only way to contact the team about enforcement issues.

Depending on your friend's suspension they may still use party chat or Xbox app if their enforcement action is not about the communication they had with their peers.

Been on Xbox since 2006, never been suspended.

If someone sends you a horrible message, ignore it, it's not like you're going to meet them in real life. Same is true with voice comms.

You agreed to the rules when you signed up. Follow them and you won't be suspended.

Your friend didn't get you comms banned.Only the enforcement team can ban/suspend someone.

You received a comms suspensions it's because you violated the ToU/CoC.

The first major issue is that the manufacturer of the sound blasterx G5 has chosen not to support comms on Xbox One.

If you have some of those in ear, ear buds, like you get with some phones, you might be able to use those as well as a headset, then you can use the sound blasterx for with either the ear buds and then use the headset for comms. Or something like that.

Since the sound blasterx G5 doesn't support comms on Xbox One, you might just have to not use it on the Xbox One S.

Have you tried using the Xbox App as a work around? or perhaps using voice chat on discord could also work.

Another thing to remember is that there is no time limit on when you can get suspended for a offence.

If you have had a online suspension added then it's because the enforcement team found other violations of the ToU/CoC you had committed in the past while investigating your comms suspension.
